Gudrun Bielz

Gudrun Bielz lives and works in the UK. She studied at the University of Art and Design, Linz, the University of Applied Art in Vienna and Central St. Martin’s College of Art and Design in London. Currently studying for a PhD in Fine Art at the University of Reading, UK. Gudrun has lectured at the University of Art and Design, Linz, the University of Applied Art in Vienna and Wimbledon School of Art in London, as well as at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art/University of Oxford. She is also currently visiting artist at the Royal Academy of Arts, London.

Gudrun has worked in areas such as: Hybrid arts, environments, video installation and sculpture, video tapes (art, commercials, commissioned work), super-8 and 16mm film, stage design with video, photography, digital imaging, multimedia, audio art, theory, short stories, poetry.

Her films and videos have been shown in many international festivals BIELZGudrun
